Installation and Activation of WalkerShop Theme

You can install and activate the WalkerShop theme by following 2 ways:

1. Download and Upload Manually

  • Goto WordPress.org and themes library
  • Search for WalkerShop or download directly with link below: download directly from here.
  • Download theme (theme download as zip file)
  • Goto your site/wp-admin dashboard
  • Goto Appearance-> Themes
  • Click on “Add New” then “Upload Theme”
  • Choose .zip file (that you already downloaded in your computer) and click on “Install Now”
  • Wait for a moment while processing and click on “Activate”

Install from WordPress theme library Directly:

  • Goto your site/wp-admin dashboard
  • Goto Appereance > Themes
  • Click on “Add New” button
  • Goto search field and type “WalkerShop” and press Enter.
  • Now you can see ‘ WalkerShop ’ > Click on “Install” and wait for a while.
  • Now click on “Activate” button.

That’s all, you did it.

Theme color Options

Follow the steps below to setup theme colors:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “General Settings”
  • Go to “Color”

change the color accordingly as your requirement here.

Theme Typography Options

Follow the steps below to setup theme colors:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Typography Settings”

change the body and heading typography accordingly as your requirement here.

Button Settings (Pro Only)

Follow the steps below to setup button style:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “General Settings”
  • Go to Button Options

Now, you could change the font family, font size, border radius and text transform accordingly as your requirement.

Content Width Option Settings (Pro Only)

Follow the steps below to setup content width:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “General Settings”
  • Go to "Content Width"

Now, you could adjust the with of main container and sidebar width as your requirement.

Scroll to Top Option Settings

Follow the steps below to setup Scroll to Top:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “General Settings”
  • Go to "Scroll to Top Options"

Now, you could changes icon, and style with custom color and size accordingly as your requirement.

Social Media Icon Settings

Follow the steps below to setup social media icons:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to "Social Media Icons"
  • Go to "Add Social Media"

Now, you could add social media icons link as your requirement.

Social Media Icons Layout Settings (Only for Pro):

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to "Social Media Icons"
  • Go to "Social Media Style"

Now, choose media icon layout and style icon accordingly as your requirement.

Breadcrumbs Settings (Pro Only)

Follow the steps below to setup breadcrumbs:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to "General Settings"
  • Go to "Breadcrumbs Options"
  • Check/Uncheck "Enable Breadcrumbs" to enable/disable breadcrumbs section.

Now, style the breadcrumbs section accordingly as your requirement.

Post Meta Style Settings (Pro Only)

Follow the steps below to setup post meta style:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to "General Settings"
  • Go to "Post Meta Style"

Now, style the post meta section accordingly as your requirement.

WooCommerce Settings (Pro Only)

Follow the steps below to setup WooCommerce option:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to "General Settings"
  • Go to "WooCommerce Settings"

Now, select layout and setup given option for shop/archive page and single products page. You can enable custom seprate sidebar for both product archive and single product page.

How to import demo with one click features?

Follow the steps below to import demo with one click demo import:

One click demo import features make easy to setup your site within a minute, here are the few steps for importing pre-built demo to your site.

Before importing demo make sure the themes “WalkerShop” and recommended plugins must be active.
Plugins list:

  • Walker Core
  • Advanced Import
  • Contact Form 7
  • WooCommerce

After confirmation, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Appearance > Demo Import
  • Now you can see demos of theme and click on “Import” that you want to import.

How to upgrade theme into premium version?

Follow the steps below to upgrade to premium version:

Before upgrading to premium version, Please be sure you must activate one of our theme and recommended plugins

Required Plugins list:

  • Walker Core
  • Advanced Import
  • Contact Form 7
  • WooCommerce

Now Please follow the steps below to upgrading free theme to premium version:

Case 1: If you have already purchased plan and have license key than:

  • Go to Dashboard
  • Go to Walker Core
  • Add license key on “License Key”
  • Now your plan has been activated.

Case 2: If you have not license already and if you are free version user:

  • Go to Dashboard
  • Go to Walker Core
  • Click on “Activate Free Version”
  • Click on “Allow & Continue”
  • Now check your email you need to active the plugin, click on “Active plugin your site/business name” on email to activate plugin.
  • Go to Walker Core > Upgrade
  • Select Plan as your requirement
  • Click on “Upgrade Now”
  • Select your plan and package
  • Add payment methods and proceed accordingly for successful payments.
  • That’s all, now you get the access of limitless features of theme.

Header Settings

Header Topbar Setting

Please follow the step below to setup the header topbar section:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Header Options”
  • Go to “Header Topbar Settings”
  • Check/Uncheck "Enable Topbar" to enable/disable topbar section.

Set the element and options and add the content accordingly as your requirement.

Main Header Setting

Please follow the step below to setup the main header section:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Header Options”
  • Go to “Header Layout Settings”
  • Select layout, enable /disable header elements and add buttons accordingly as your requirement.

Click on “Published” to save your settings.

Header Style Setting

Please follow the step below to setup the header style:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Header Options”
  • Go to “Header Style Settings”
  • Change the color and size and padding of topbar, main header, main menu and header promotion bar accordingly as your requirement.

Click on “Published” to save your settings.

Header Promotion Bar Setting

Please follow the step below to setup the header promotion:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Header Options”
  • Go to “Header Promotion Bar”
  • Check/uncheck "Enable Promotion Bar" to enable/disable promotion bar section.
  • Add content here accordingly.

Click on “Published” to save your settings.

Footer Settings (Pro Only)

Footer Layout Settings

Please follow the steps below to setup the footer layout:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to "Footer Options"
  • Go to "Footer Layout Settings"
  • Now select layout and add content accordingly as your requirement.

Note: Please add footer column content from footer widgets : Appearance > widgets 

Footer Style Settings

Please follow the steps below to setup footer color scheme and background:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Footer Options”
  • Go to “Footer Style Settings”

Now, style the footer and footer elements accordingly as your requirement in this section.

Footer Business Info Settings

Follow the steps below to setup theme typography:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Footer Options”
  • Go to “Footer Business Info Settings”
  • Check/Uncheck "Enable Footer Business Info Section" to enable/disable footer business info section.

Select position and set color schema and other settings accordingly as your requirement and publish. 

After that you can add content from widget :

Go to  Appearance > Widgets > Footer Business Information (Add content here)

Blog Settings

Blog/Archive Layout Settings

Please follow the steps below to setup the blog archive layout and settings:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Blog Options”
  • Go to “Blog Archive Settings”
  • Choose Sidebar Position as your requirement.
  • Choose blog view as your requirement. (Pro Only)
  • Setup ontions and enable/disables meta as your requirement (Pro only )
  • Click to "Publish" to save your settings.

Single Post Layout Settings

Follow the steps below to setup single blog layout and options:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Blog Options”
  • Go to “Single Blog Settings”
  • Choose sidebar position as your requirement
  • Enable/disable post meta in single blog page as your requirement(Pro Only)
  • Click to "Publish" to save your settings.

Frontpage Section Settings

How to setup home/front page?

After basics and general setup, Now it’s turn to setup your beautiful home/front page. for setup home/front page follow the steps as below:

First we create home page :

  • Go to Pages > Add New
  • Add Title (Add page title here for example : Home)
  • Choose the “Front Page for Theme” page template Under Template at bottom of sidebar.
  • Now click on “Publish” to save your page.

Now setup your page as Home/Front page :

  • Go to > Appearance > Customize
  • Go to Homepage Settings
  • Choose homepage display > A static page
  • Choose “homepage” > your page(Example: home/front page, That you created before to display homepage.)
  • Now click on “Publish” to save your setting.

Adding Banner to the Frontpage

Follow the steps below to setup banner section:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Frontpage Options”
  • Go to “Banner”
  • Check/Uncheck "Enable Banner Section" to enable/disable banner section.
  • Choose Banner layout (only for pro, single layout for free version)

Add the content and set options accordingly as your requirement.

More Layout options for Banner (Pro Only) :

Slider Layout 2 : If you choose this layout, you need to add slider content from custom post type, Please follow the step below to add the slider content:
– Go to Dashboard
– Go to Walker Core > Slider
Now add the slider as much as you need here.

Slider Layout 3 & 4 : If you choose this layout, you need to select product category to display as slider content and setup option accordingly as your requirement.

Adding Other Homepage Sections

Follow the steps below to setup banner section:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Frontpage Options”
  • Go to “Services”
  • Check/Uncheck Enable "Services Section" to enable/disable services section.
  • Select layout and add content accordingly as your requirement.

Now click to “Publish” to save your settings. 
Similarly you can add other homepage sections.

Homepage Sections Re-order

Follow the steps below to re-order homepage sections:

  • Go to Appearance > Customize
  • Go to “Frontpage Options”
  • Go to “SECTION RE-ORDER”
  • Now drag and drop section up and down where you want to display
  • Click "Publish" to save your re-order settings.
